Prior to using Everproof, Diamond Creek Force Netball Association (DCFNA) was managing their staff and volunteer qualifications using Excel spreadsheets. DCFNA oversees the management of their clubs and needs to ensure that staff and volunteers at a club level are compliant. Using Excel spreadsheets to manage qualifications, the committee found it “challenging to manage expiries and remember when to check the validity of Working with Children Checks”.
Mark Goldspink, President of DCFNA, identified this was an area the association and their clubs needed to improve on, particularly with the new Child Safe Standards being implemented in Victoria.
Mark was initially attracted to Everproof due of the ease of the platform in monitoring the validity of Working with Children Checks’ of umpires, coaches and volunteers at an association and club level.
View the compliance of each club
Everproof provides a master view of the entire association. Using Everproof, Mark as an administrator can view the compliance of the netball association as a whole and drill down to view the compliance of each individual club.
Getting started was simple
Mark found the process of getting started with Everproof very simple. In particular, “the face-to-face information session with Hugh [from Everproof] gave clubs a good understanding of what was required of them and how to use Everproof”.
Mark commented on the “fantastic support” that has been provided to clubs, saying that to his knowledge, every time they have had a query or needed assistance, they have quickly received responses from Everproof support staff. Further, clubs have commented to Mark that they’ve found the process of on-boarding new staff and volunteers a lot simpler and they find it easy to add and remove staff from their Everproof account.
Compliance issues can be rectified in a timely manner
Mark’s favourite part of Everproof is being able to logon his Everproof admin account and immediately identify non-compliant staff through the colour codes (e.g. green for ‘compliant’, orange for ‘qualification expiring soon’ and red for ‘not-compliant’). This allows him and other committee members to quickly manage and rectify any compliance issues. This process saves Mark the time and worry in monitoring WWCCs and allows him to focus on other important tasks.
Best of all, Mark has seen a “huge improvement in compliance of the entire association”.
